Los Angeles County Development Authority

Administers the County's housing and community development programs, such as economic development, business revitalization, and enterprise zones. Operates low-income housing programs including: more than 3,000 public and affordable rental units; approximately 22,000 Housing Choice Vouchers for rent subsidies; and financing and technical assistance to non-profit and for-profit developers of affordable housing. The Commission also makes federal Community Development Block Grant funds available for projects and programs as well as offering grants and loans to first-time homebuyers and to low-income homeowners to rehabilitate their properties.
