One informal way the County as an employer seeks to make its mark on the community is through our employee programs. The County’s newest service opportunity for our employees, the Los Angeles County Employee Youth Mentoring Program, was launched this Tuesday through a unanimous vote by the Board.

Protect yourself and others - the flu spreads easily, but the flu shot will help protect you. The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (DPH) is recommending that all persons 6 months of age and over, including healthy children and adults, receive a flu shot each year.
