2017-2018 DHR REPORT 27 Looking Ahead We believe that Fiscal Years 2018 – 2021 will be exceptional years for DHR and the County of Los Angeles. We will continue to collaborate with our partners to create career pipelines for vulnerable populations within our communities. We will develop and implement trainings across multiple medias in order to develop our workforce and support County departments in meeting their respective missions. We will continue to build the workplace of the future by looking into alternate workspaces, advancing telework opportunities and flexible work schedules, and assisting our employees to achieve work-life integration. Additionally, we will pursue innovative Countywide strategies to enhance the recruitment, hiring, and retention of exceptional and passionate public servants. Most of all, we will continue to lead the way in HR excellence by investing in the workforce of today and tomorrow.
