Cesar Chavez Community Service Week

Take the time to give back to our community by participating in Cesar Chavez Community Service Week!

LA County employees can help in three ways:

1. Donate to the Virtual Food Drive

2. Donate Food to the LA Food Bank. Not sure what food items to collect? Check out the Best Foods to Donate to make the most of your donation efforts.

3. Volunteer on County time with one of the participating non-profit organizations. Prior management approval is required.

  • Complete the Employee Volunteer Application from February 16, 2016 through March 11, 2016.

  • Submit your completed application to your department’s Cesar Chavez Coordinator

  • Volunteer Opportunities are available on the first come, first served basis, and early registration is highly recommended.

  • ALL Volunteer Applications are due to coordinators no later than the week of March 7th, with the final deadline of March 11th. Volunteer Opportunities are limited, and we encourage all employees to apply early.
